LTAP and NIRMA are joining forces to present training to all city street and county road department employees to better equip those employees in performing their snow removal duties safely.

A half-day course that provides tips and guidelines for building a safe Snow Removal Program.  Topics to be covered and discussed are:
 - Steps in building a program
 - Winter and snow removal safety procedures
 - Safe snow removal procedures and material handling
 - Safety on the roads and bridges
 - Sample agreements and contracts

Participants will be able to discuss safe practices and procedures related to every day practices in the field. Sample Contractor Snow Removal Agreement, Snow Removal Plan & Policies, and a Farmer/Feedlot Owners Removing Snow from County Roads agreement will be provided.
